Locations- Rural

Here are some examples of the locations we are considering using:

This is a woodland area in Erddig country park. We thought of using this woodland area because of its proximity to our homes. But we also felt that the Autumn leaves would give a colourful, background to the rural scenes.

This redbrick wall nearby my (Rhianwens) house is characteristic of the brick used in the areas houses. We thought the old, yet vibrant colour of the wall, along with the horse mount would tie in with the theme of our promotional package and make a unique location for either our video or for use in our digipak and advert.

Again the dovecot shows the redbrick.....

Close up of the backdoor of the dovecot.
This may be suitable for taking pictures to use in the digipak and advert.

This is a gate which is situated at the back of Erddig Hall (a national trust property) which has a walled garden.

Again this would be a nice location for either the video or digipak.

Here is another Woodland area which we particularly liked due to the two rows of trees running parallel, which gives it an arch like feel.

Locations

Our plan is to use both rural and urban locations in our music video. Fortunately we live in an area which offers both in a close proximity.  For the rural locations we are able to use Erddig Country Park which is only a 5 minute walk from our homes and has a variety of suitable locations e.g. woodlands, fields a river and old building and walls. We may also use Bellvue park and St giles church which are both close to the centre of Wrexham but have the advantage of both urban and rural features.
Some of the urban areas of Wrexham will be suitable for filming such as the recently built Eagles Meadow and some of the quieter cobbled back-streets. We may also venture a little further to Chester to make use of the Cities historic features.
